I was able to get an amazing deal on a low-end guitar and will spend a little on it to make it a good backup guitar. The string trees that came with it were just stamped steel, so I went looking for a low-priced upgrade. These fit the bill and installed without much trouble, just a bit of testing to find what length of screws and which of the old spacers were needed.

These trees with the rollers are real string savers and they don't interfere with staying in tune. Will be buying more.

Really a major improvement over the stock Squier string retainers. Nice rollers that guide the strings and provide enough 'break' for the string to sing! Reasonable price too. Recommended.
