I used these to pull some tree stumps from the ground. They worked well to split the load and give me enough pulling strength to get the stumps out.

I am pleased with this recovery kit. The kit included a tree saver strap, snatch pulley and 2 D-rings. I am very happy with the quality of this kit. The snatch pulley is well built, it’s got some weight to it and spins nicely. The D-rings are also very durable and the machined Screw Pin works smoothly. Both are powder coated with a smooth finish. The tree saver strap is well made. I like everything about this kit. The only downside is that it did not include a bag. I went out and got one. Great kit to have in your truck.

The back of my Yukon has a few handy tools in it... shovel, ratchet straps, hitch accessories.... and most recently this snatch block, tree save, and set of shackles. It's one of those "glad I have it" type tools that you never know when the need may come up, but you'll be glad that it is there when you do.The snatch block feels very sturdy, fairly heavy, and feels very well made. The shackles feel like most others that I have, the rubber base and washers to help keep noise down are nice. I've not had to use the tree saver/nylon strap yet, but it feels sturdy and seems like it will hold its own when that time comes.For the price, certainly a good addition for those moments when you'll be glad that you have it.
