My smaller ski boat needed a less bulky steering lock blocks - this fit the bill perfectly. No longer do I need to tie my steering wheel to the windshield frame to make it safe to trailer home from the lake.

We have an inshore skiff with a 115hp yami on the back. While we trailer the boat, the motor will always swing to one side. While it's not problematic, and we generally just swing it to the side ahead of time, anticipating the outcome and to avoid damage, I'd much prefer to keep it upright. We got these locks to help with that, and so far they work great. I was a little hesitant to put something on that steering rod, but the material these are made of is 'soft' enough to remove my worry. The material is like a soft, but rigid plastic. So far they work exactly as expected and I'm very pleased.
