This paper is a nice weight, for landscaping and other uses. It could be used to wrap gifts, as a disposable tablecloth, for mural-making and more. As landscaping material, it's okay but I don't love it. What I do like:**Biodegradable**Easy to tear openings where needed**Medium-Weight Easy to Work WithWhat Could Be Better:**You have to supply your own landscape nails or anchors. The paper is lightweight and can blow off if not anchored.**Not as Flow-Through As Landscaping Mesh -- This paper doesn't allow water to flow through as easily as landscaping fabric does. I used it to pre-treat a raised bed full of weeds before replanting. I suppose it will keep weeds out after planting if you cut holes and feed your keeper plants through. However, water puddles on the surface and rolls with gravity so I worry that my plants are not receiving uniform watering. I ended up adding slits to allow water through from the start. While landscaping fabric isn't environmentally-friendly like this paper, the fabric allows for more even watering as soon as it is installed. This paper has to soften up first.Four Feet wide is a versatile size for lots of different project. This roll will come in handy around the house and it's workable as a weed barrier, while being eco-friendly.

They're frankly so fragile and so quick to disintegrate that even if you IMMEDIATELY bury them with new soil, mulch, etc they will not last long enough to perform a barrier function and kill underlying weeds. Also overpriced.
