The streamer strength is strong enough to resist the breezes we get. Sadly, being outside for just 1 week the bright colors of the red and blue faded to silver from the sun. The streamer is still shiny and festive just lack the blues and reds. This is why I gave it only 3 stars.

The red, white and blue colors are brilliant. The starts stand out just far enough from the middle to pop. It's extremely long so I will be able to use on either the tree or the banister. It comes in a vacuum package and has a little bit of odor at first. I've taken the garland out, shaken it out some and have let it air out. It's fluffing quite nicely and the odor is non-detectable now. It's going to look great!

I could not use this garland. It was way too robust and overpowering. It might work well in a bigger setting but the description did not indicate how large it would be. Too much for my project- I returned it.
