Settled for this as I couldn't find the brand that I bought last year. This roll is thinner and quite flimsy compared to what I purchased a year ago and the stakes are very flimsy and not as long as others either The top of the stake breaks off, even when lightly tapping with a rubber mallet. The good thing is they give you a LOT of stakes to make up for the ones that break. This product works in a pinch, but would suggest you try a different brand for better quality.

I recently used the ESOHOT Landscape Edging for my garden, and I’m really impressed with how it turned out.The 2-inch tall edging is the perfect height to define my flower beds without being too bulky. I like that is can be installed with a no-dig installation, so it is easy to put in, just lay it out and secure it with the included spikes. The spike themselves are plastic, so depending on your soil they may not hold up if you have hard pack or lots of rocks. Most of ours installed without issue, but we did have a few bend or break when we hit some resistance. I just used some metal spike nails I had and they did the trick. The heavy-duty material feels durable and sturdy, and the black color blends nicely with the landscape. It provides a clean, neat edge that helps keep grass from creeping into the flower beds. The 40FT length was just right for my project, It looks great.Highly recommend this for anyone looking for an easy, low-maintenance way to add definition and style to their outdoor space!

I recently picked up the Heavy-Duty 2-inch Tall No-Dig Garden Edging, and I've got to say, I'm itching to put it to use. Although we're at the tail end of winter and I can't install it just yet, I've been planning out where it'll go in my gardens come spring. What really caught my eye about this edging is the no dig feature. As someone who's spent countless hours battling with traditional edging methods, the idea of simply hammering in spikes rather than digging trenches is music to my back and knees. The 2-inch height seems perfect for creating clean lines between my lawn and flower beds without being too obtrusive.I'm particularly excited about using this edging to define the curves of my perennial garden. I've always struggled to maintain a crisp edge there, especially when the plants start to spill over. With 40 feet to work with, I should have enough to outline the entire bed and maybe even tackle the vegetable garden too.The black color is a nice touch; it should blend in well with the soil and mulch, letting the plants be the stars of the show. And the heavy-duty aspect gives me hope that it'll stand up to our weather and my not so gentle lawnmower. However, I'm a bit concerned about how flexible the edging will be for creating tight curves. My garden has some pretty whimsical shapes, and I'm hoping this product can keep up. Also, while the spikes seem sturdy, I'm wondering how well they'll hold up in our clay heavy soil once it gets waterlogged in the spring. All in all, I'm looking forward to giving this edging a go when the ground thaws. If it works as well as I hope, it could save me hours of maintenance throughout the growing season.

This two-inch landscaping edging is the same as the four-inch version—medium-grade plastic. It’s not super heavy-duty but not extremely lightweight either. It does the job, though it tends to retain the rolled shape it came in. I recommend laying it out in the hot sun for a couple of hours to soften it up, especially if you want straight lines.I was very disappointed that it came with plastic stakes instead of metal ones—never a fan of plastic stakes. But I guess we’ll see how they hold up.Overall, an okay buy for the price

The landscape edging comes in a box with several bags of thick plastic nails for installation. The edging is a stiff, heavy plastic.I’ve used 2 other types of edging in the past, both of which needed to be dug in. This edging is more matte than other edging I’ve used. It’s easier to bend and straighten and didn’t need to be left in the sun for several hours the way one of them did. I removed the very flimsy green, dig in edging around one of my flower beds and replaced it with this one. It was very easy to curve it to make an attractive edge. I didn’t need to fight with it, as I did with the dig in kind, where section after section slipped out of the soil as I tried to put the next segment in. Instead of a frustrating and time consuming experience it only took a few minutes and was very easy. I installed it on a day when the ground was wet, so the nails were easy to hammer in with a mallet. When I got to the end of the flower bed the edging was easy to cut with my garden shears. I took my ‘after’ photo before covering the nails and base plates with dirt and leaves. I think it looks great. After the ease of installation with this edging I’m not going back to the dig in kind.

This was a lot heavier then I expected. The thickness was perfect for our pathway we needed leading in to our chicken and bunny area. They like to dig up around the gate going in and when I put pavers down they would dig under them. Bunnies and chicks together can get up and under anything. This was our solution make a path then set pavers and fill in with rocks around. Without this edge the chickens would kick the rocks away and the bunnies would dig under the pavers. So far the bunnies and chicks have been stopped by this. It worked out perfect. It was easy to install, and bend around in our custom designed path. Its thick enough to hold the rocks back and to much for the chicks or bunnies to mess with.

I have installed this Landscape Edging ( see photo ) as a transition between gravel and lawn for a new water-feature/garden space with a few gentle curves enabling easier mowing, and am impressed with the quality fit and finish of the design. I did dig before placement such that the height is only 1/2” high, permitting the lawnmower blades to pass overtop without catching, and am extremely happy with the results. The 2” tall plastic Edging features; 3.5mm extra thickness Polyethylene (PE), and an intentional oversupply of 90 black reinforced 6-inch plastic stakes.

Very nice border that will easily last a long time. The plastic is quite thick, so it'll be able to hold back the weight of the soil without any problems. It comes rolled up, so I left it in the warm sun for a bit to relax the roll as I unrolled it. The warmer it got, the easier it got to shape it how I wanted. Unroll the whole thing, put it upside down on the ground with a few rocks on it (to hold it down), and it'll relax nicely. The spikes are made of twisted plastic strands, so they'll hold in the soil quite well. I do wish the plastic stakes were 8" instead of 6" in order to provide that extra security, but I imagine it might be hard to drive plastic down that far into the ground. If you have really hard or rocky soil, I recommend to use a 10' or 12" metal spike first (thinner than the width of the plastic stake), drive that into the ground first, remove it, then install the plastic stake. Don't loosen the soil by hand, and don't try to hammer in the plastic through hard, rocky soil. You'll probably damage the spike. If you use a thinner metal spike to make the hole first, you'll clear any rocks, preserve the density of the soil, and more easily install the stakes. It's like pre-drilling for a screw! Then just re-use the same metal spike for each hole. It'll take a bit longer, but overall it will be easier and give a result that lasts.Very nice product, and ideal to use when you don't want to lose any flower bed square footage for your border.

A large roll of high quality and durable garden edging! It is easy enough to see what is needed even though it doesn’t come with instructions. Thought I haven’t fully installed it yet it looks like it will do exactly what I need it to in keeping my pavers in place along the edge of my patio. It is just as described and is much more durable than the edging I have seen in Home Depot so I am excited to get it all installed. I will be sure to update if I run into any issues but right out of the box I can tell it will do just what I need it to. Plus for including a large amount of spikes to hold it in place!

This edging is selected for a forthcoming spring landscaping project. A new landscape bed will be created for shrubs within a mulched area. The edging will define the bed perimeter and retain the mulch. The thirty spikes are sufficient to secure the forty feet of edging. After I inspected this whole package I feel this edging is comparable to edging that can be purchased at home centers.

This is the 3rd barrier I have purchased from them & I love it! I would give more stars if possible, it is easy to install, it's easy to bend, a great quality, comes with little "nails" to hold it in place, it looks great & is very functional, I think it's a great value & great product.

We needed to line one side of a driveway with some edging to stop the grass from taking it over. We found this landscaping from Esohot and decided to give it a try. Glad we did.It installed very easily, and is flexible but sturdy so it follows the land contours. The set came with some excellent stakes that went in well and will hold. The material is well made and does the job. It also looks good installed and is well worth the money. The price is excellent.I wasn't motivated to do the job but we got it done in just minutes. Glad we did it now.I do recommend this landscape edging

Good edging overall. Was tougher to cut than some other mid-grades I've purchased (needed heavy duty shears and cutting a little a time to cut to size). We lined a wire fence with it to keep mulch from falling out. Came with plenty of stakes, though at least 3 of them had the heads pop off (which does make me worry about longevity thru the seasons, as the plastic stakes tend to give out over time and I don't really feel like doing this again). For now - it seems fine and was not difficulty to use or get in place.
