In the southeast of Georgia we have a long hunting season if you hunt with a bow and rifle. I got this backpack for my nephew to use to hike out to his blind. He wanted to set the blind up in a certain spot, but he struggled to get his things out to it unless he made multiple trips over mild to moderate rough terrain. Once he cleared a path last summer, he maintained it, though it still took multiple trips to set this up. Even though it is a private hunting club and land, he didn't want to leave something in the blind just in case there was animal damage, human or otherwise. This backpack holds everything that he needs including his bow or rifle. He is lean muscle and slim framed. The pack fits him well since it adjusts, has a supportive hip belt, and load lifters on the straps. The interior is one big compartment, so packing cubes work great for organizing his meals, toilet paper, sanitizer, water bladder, and hunting things. The exterior has so many pockets and elastic loops to secure bullets and gear. The canvas is heavy duty Cordura to take the wear hiking though the woods will inflict upon it. The zippers are YKK...enough said. The buckles are UTX...enough said there too! You don't have to spend a ton of money on a pack to get high quality materials. All the joins are double tacked for durability. If you have apiece of equipment, this pack has a place to stash or hang it. The pack is well balanced and feels solid when strapped on due to the compression straps and supportive shoulder straps and hip belt. This bag is a no brainer, just get it before hunting season.
