5 stars so far! 40 seeds for just under 10 bucks not bad at all. The seeds came and I was getting ready to nip the tops or file them down but it appears the company has already done this step for me. Not sure how they will grow yet but I'll be back in a few days with an update and picture

6 out of eight lotus seeds have sprouted, perhaps one more late in coming. I emptied the old water daily, replacing it with warm water in a glass container, 7 " high, 4 " round. They all have sprouted roots and long thin stems with emerging small leaves. I know I have to transplant them soon in mud, water on top, but I have only smallish containers for that, as I want them for house plants und not much room on my southern window sill. How to proceed. Help!

Patience is needed! They are very slow to germinate.

Good quality seeds, they all grew except 2. Beautiful flowers, wife loves them. Suggest watching a YouTube video on how to grow these if you are not familiar with them.

I have just had them sprout about 1.5 weeks ago. Nothing really to report. About 50% sprout rate as of now. I will update when I have more information.Poor directions - like none. I had to google to find more information. I recommend sanding /roughing up one side of the seed pod to help with sprouting. (not the pointy side)

Ok. Plant the seeds in water? Plant in dirt? Who knows? Do they bloom only once? Why all the mystery?
