Why i didn't read user product reviews is a mystery. After receiving this "safe", it is clear there is no way this will be waterproof or fireproof. As others have noted, you can see light around the closed door. The mounting holes in the rear and bottom would easily allow fire and water to enter. And this is no insulation on the five sides or door to protect combustible items from char or burning. A total waste of money and I am sending this back pronto.

This an excellent home safe box that is adaptable many situations. Was able to adjust shelves to accommodate important documents, jewelry, and small arms. Also came along with a fire proof bag for additional fire protection.

I love the large-scale shelves. The lighted door is a welcome addition. The flame resistant bag for documents is handy for such things a passports, security cards, and letters. It is very sturdy and comes with easy instructions of setting up. It kind of medium weight. The ease of opening is a passcode, keys or a special set up key.

I love the Safe. I like that it's fireproof, great quality and well with the money. The weight is excellent. I would definitely recommend this Safe. I would like for the door opening to be wider.

This safe is marketed and priced as fireproof, but In fact, safe itself is not fireproof - they include a small fireproof bag, that's all that is there when it comes to a fire protection. Furthermore, fireproof bag is mentioned in the title as A4 size, but actually it is half that size (detailed description gives correct size). I also doubt it is waterproof, there is no trace of any sealing, but I didn't try.Interestingly, most of the safes has one battery compartment inside the safe, but this one has two battery compartments, internal and external, taking total 8 batteries. The purpose of this is unclear to me, as the safe works perfectly well with only one compartment having batteries in it.
