Bought a metal chop saw and needed a better blade than what came with it. This blade cut through a 3.5" steel pipe smoothly.

I didn't know what to expect with the different reviews so I picked up a Lenox blade at a home improvement store as a back up that's the brand we use at work and I've been impressed by them on my 4.5" grinder but I ordered a 7" blade for my very old radial arm saw or to use with my circular saw I 1st used the Lenox and it worked well with the exception of when pulling my saw it would climb onto my work and jam the saw so I decided to try pushing it back into the 2"x3"x1/8" steel tube with the change it began to cut better although I was clamping the steel to the saw table I made a lot of cuts with it working really good so I switched to the I bought from Amazon while changing the blade I noticed the Lenox had maybe half as much grit on it I started cutting different sized steel tube and the cuts became faster cleaner I even started making miter cuts in my veins this brand works better I'm very happy with my purchase

I did not like that the max RPM of the blade isn't listed on the blade as most normally are.

I was surprised by the performance of this saw blade. I used it to cut down an old water heater, and the ⅛" thick steel (plus glazing) didn't stand a chance...After a 2½' cut I tested the blade's temperature. It was hot, but not to the point of burning skin on contact - I'd guess around ~125⁰-135⁰. I opted to give it some rest between cuts, so I doubt it got much warmer than that. Didn't bother cutting up the top of the tank, so can't really speak on it's ease through ¼+” steel yet.At the end of my cutting there was some noticeable wear on the grit, but not nearly as much as I was expecting... It still looks able to take on a similar task many times over (which is good as I have another water heater for it to chew through next week). 🙂It was significantly faster and more efficient than my previous method... using an angle grinder, burning through about four 4½" metal cut-off wheels.
