They were not the original equipment part, smaller in thickness, but these do work and look better than the original worn out grips.

Peel old handle covers off Of ZTR handle, not glued on.Using non-ammonia, window cleaner spray and clean Metal handles with clean rag. Spray handles with window cleaner liberally. Spray inside of handle covers with window cleaner liberally. You must work quickly.!Slide covers over handle moving quickly, twisting back-and-forth using your clean rag until they are in the position you desire. Within minutes, they will be stuck..!

I was doubtful at first looking at these, they look undersized but they fit perfectly on the steering handles of my John Deere zero turn lawn tractor. I just followed instructions on using soapy water, they slipped right on.
