Product was great, although I made the mistake of ordering this one which is fixed at 10 GPM with no adjustment dial, as opposed to the "45MHP10" (notice there is one less "P" in there) which was actually the one I needed, which has the adjustment dial. Seller took this one back and issued a refund without any hassle.

The similarly priced diaphragm injection pump that was part of the chlorinator that came with our house has always been problematic. Like other diaphragm pumps it's dependent on two "ball" check valves to pump. The rubber seals in their check valves get sticky and the I was constantly having to free up the the balls and clean the seals (you'd think a pump sold for use in a chlorinator would come with seals that are inert to a bleach solution. Back to square one not long after replacing the head a couple years ago. Finally gave up and looked for another pump. Discovered the the popular, inexpensive "red" brand is another diaphragm pump with a noisier solenoid drive. {Thank goodness for Youtube). That brought me back the more expensive Stenner pumps.Peristaltic pumps are used almost exclusively in laboratory and medical applications where accuracy and reliability are needed particularly in intermittent applications. Different tubes materials can be used for different chemicals with the same pump mechanism, the problem is they tend to be expensive, especially for adjustable flow units. Luckily I can change the concentration in my chlorine tank so the percent chlorine injected is what I need with this fixed 10 gpd pump. Yes!Very happy now with a much smaller, simpler and quieter pump that has more readily available and less expensive service parts. It even came with a spare set of tubes.Highly recommended.
