The material is good and sturdy! Well worth the money

It doesn't look like the photo. It's very cheaply made. Looks spray painted with cheap gritty grey paint. Was bent on 1 corner. Was very disappointed. Kept it only because I needed it now. Not with the $ spent. The seller was contacted and they did work with me to satisfy my purchase.

Very well made, and it should last long time.My original BBQ charcoal tray was burned though. This tray is much thicker and feel very solid. It has holes on either end to hang it with my current charcoal tray hanger to adjust the height (for low heat to searing heat).Very well made.

I have been told that I am overly critical of fabricated metal parts, however it's needs to be said. This item is either painted or powder coated so I would have preferred a bare steel product so you don't get anything burning off into your food. The Grill is welded into the tray and is not removable, it is not welded in straight and some of the holes are partially blocked by the grate, the distance between the bottom of the pan and the vent holes is small, even a small amount of ash will restrict the airflow. There are handles to help lift the tray out but given that the slot to dump the ash out is small and the grate is not removable there will be small pieces of charcoal that get caught under the grate. The edges are not fully finished and have some burrs, the corners are tack welded, overall not a very good design and cheap finishing work. At this price point I would expect much better quality.
