Is the tailgate light bar suitable for your truck?
Tailgate light bar work on any vehicle with at least a 48 inch tailgate and a standard 4 pin (3 and 1) wiring harness. The extra wire is the reverse light and needs to be spliced in separately.Suitable for 12v car and pickup truck.
Universal 4pin plug assembly and wire it into vehicles existing wiring harness.If your truck is not 4-pin plug assembly,look for an extra adapter to 4 pin.For example, if the truck is 7-pin, you need a "7 to 4" adapter.

I received the LED lights on February 2nd and installed on March 13th when the weather was warm enough in the 70’s. Last night March 20th I noticed that the lights were not working.Fortunately I had bought a roll of wiring harness covering from Amazon to go over the strand of wires, fortunate because the plastic fuse case broke so at least the plastic case and fuse were caught inside the wiring harness cover. It came with two sizes , but you need at least the 1/2 inch size and the harness covering expands.Yes, the plastic fuse case broke within two weeks! It was not against anything and nothing would have hit it! Totally unacceptable!I saw in another review where someone mentioned that their fuse case broke also, I guess their wires were not covered because the fuse fell out while they were driving.My original setup was a bar that slides into the hitch assembly. That bar came with the LED strip already attached, that lasted three years.So I attached this new LED strip to my bar after removing the old LED strip and removing all of the old adhesive from the bar.September 2024, second negative about the LED strip: the yellow row of LED lights has been not working for at least two months now. All that currently works is the red LED strip row for when the lights are on.Buyer beware with this LED light strip!

So far it seems to work well and was easy to install. The wires are a little short and the fuse location is a little unexpected. But time will tell on how it works.After having it installed for a bit the one end of the tape hasn't held. I'm going to guess it is because there's a bit of a lip at the ends that raised it higher then the sticky side and be sure to roll it out to help get rid of the memory from it being wrapped up in the package or it will be difficult to install. Maybe lay it out on a flat floor before removing the tape on it with some books on it to hold it flat for a while before installing it

I had the product for a little over a year and a half. It worked great for a while. Now the yellow right hand turn indicator does not work. Everything else seems to work. I’ve looked at fuses and checked all the wires. Very disappointing.

This is the second one that I have had to buy the ends do not seem to be 100% water proof so you need to silicone or apply some gorrila clear tape to keep water out of the inner working.

This light flas when you brake ,and the pattern of lighting does not correspond to an automobile , it looks like a disco- light. I honestely do not recommende this product.

Love it. It is bright and very sensitive to input signals.I have a YouTube videos testing this product 6 months ago. Got it installed and worked perfectly.After 7 months, the read led started acting up may be due to manufacture faulty. I contacted the seller/ manufacture and they willingly to send me an replacement even though it was just passed it warranty period.I will update with pictures after receiving the replacement and get it reinstated.It is waterproof and it did stand up against water.Should try it on your car.
