The inner foil cap does not seal to the bottle. It stays inside the lid and you have to manually remove the foil cap from in side the yellow flip top seal.

These bottles are great for storing honey. Well made and the seal is great. Great price for the amount of bottles!

IT IS THE LAW in the USA that honey is sold by the weight, not by the fluid ounce.These bottles hold 19ozs of honey, not the 16ozs as advertised.They do hold 16 fluid ounces of water. Honey is much heavier than water.
