Using in front of our indoor fireplace to protect our rug and floor from hot embers that pop out of the fire. For that purpose it works great and have seen embers land on it and they go right out. Before we had an issue with embers burning our rugs. Not anymore with this mat. Once done with the fires it rolls up easily and stores under our coffee table. Recommend for anyone using devices that put out embers or sparks to help prevent a house fire.

This mat is saving my patio from grease stains and other damage the grill could cause. I like it so much I'm buying more for my husband's other outdoor bbq and smoker.

Very flimsy. When I received the box, I was surprised at the size. Totally expected something four times that size. We have had several mats but never one this lightweight. We'll see if the wind lets it lay flat, or if we have to weight it down.

I upgraded our grill mat when we updated our deck. The mat is a 30 inch by 48 inch. I should have ordered a larger size but that is on me. I wanted a mat that measures at least 12 inches bigger on all sides so that the new deck would be protected. I missed measured but that does not distract from the effectiveness of this mat. It is fireproof, waterproof and oil proof.
