I only put a few on my clothing and they did indeed work. They are very strong though. So I would check with your kids doctor before use. I had one on my shirt, one on the bottom of my shorts and one on my shoes. Lasted all day.

Patches worked. Havent tried the bracelets but I bet they would be more effective given the fact that I didn't get any bites while using the patches and I'm a mosquitoes magnet :)

These stickers and bands are great mosquito repellents. I bought them right before the summer for my preschooler and she has been using them for every outdoor activities (ex: camping, park day, etc...). The stickers are definitely her favorite. They come in 20 different animal patterns and they all all very adorable. My daughter loves mixing and matching them. I typically give her 3-4 stickers for each outing so she can stick them to her sleeves and bottom. They stay on very nicely and does not come off easily. The citronella smell is strong enough to keep mosquitos away and it does last for the whole day. I sometimes forgot to take the stickers off her clothes and have accidently threw them into the washer / dryer but they still come out intact on her clothes and the there is still a fainted citronella smell to it. The bands work very well too and definitely have a stronger citronella smell. But my daughter does not like to wear the bands and she just finds the stickers more fun overall. One thing I really like about this product is that they come in 8 small packets of 60 stickers instead of 1 big packet of 480 stickers. It keeps the citronella smell fresh as long as the packets aren't open and the small packet barely takes up much space in my bag so I can carry it with me at all times. This is a summer must and it has been working great so far.
