This item is essential when installing a suspended ceiling. With the corresponding acoustical lag screw driver bit, these are easily driven into the floor joists to provide an anchoring point for the wire to hold up (suspend) the main beam. The screw provides an eyelet to put the wire from the main beam to hold the framework. I would give it a 5 star but a few of them snapped off when driving them in. If using these, you need to get the corresponding driver bit.
