I took a chance on this unrated and unreviewed (at the time) assortment of clear cord locks. i mean, how can you screw that up? well i’ll tell you how. you use the least amount of the cheapest and most brittle plastic you can find, and rely on the worst hardware to hold it all together/function. which is exactly what the manufacturer has done here. they use so little plastic that the locks that are supposed to be round are actually flat lol. further, the spring action is awfully rigid on some, while on others they don’t provide enough traction to actually “lock” the cords. to put it as succinctly as i can, these are bad. and dumb. and dumb at being bad. that’s what i get for buying an unrated product. i suggest just buying a few different varieties of clear cord locks to make your own assortment, cuz none of the pre-assembled assortments of clear locks on here are any good.
