Saved money and the hassle of taking my lawnmower to the man down the street as it was easy to change the old filthy filter. I used the online video for the step by step video that made it a breeze to exchange.

Lawn edger had not had regular maintenance done on it for years except for changing the blade when needed. So I decided to Changed the oil, belt, air filter, tighten loose bolts and nuts . The spark plug was still in good condition. The pre-filter and spark plug that came with the kit weren't needed.

Air filter fit without exception, checked spark plug for fit but not needed at this time.

The filter fit like a charm, easy to install in my B&S Quantum engine. I also used the sponge pre filter. The spark plug that was included in the kit is another story. The picture will show the difference between the existing plug and the one that was sent in the kit. Notice the length difference especially that of the ceramic insulator. I didn't use the plug instead I purchased another RJ19LM since I couldn't find an accurate cross reference for the plug. Would buy again, decent value.
