Many adjustable joints allow this to be properly positioned for training. Unlike many other models, the rubber mouth mimics soft tissue response fairly well. I have a dental training mannequin torso but it's big and not easy to move it around. This is small and you can place it on just about any desk where you want to practice.I am satisfied with everything except one thing. The desk securing rod came off while tightening. Upon close examination, the anchor bolt orientation was not right. It needs to face just like the amazon picture and not the other way. It came with opposite orientation. Other than that, it's a great training tool.

Also, the threaded gromet that is used with the clamping mechanism was installed upside down. This caused it to come loose when pressure was applied to clamp on the desk. Easy enough fix to just swap sides but it was very awkward to work with everything installed and getting this in place correctly. Everything else is fine and this will be a good training tool.
