Overall this firewood rack should be good for more cases, but I do question how well it's made.Compared to the rack I have next to it, which is the same size, this is substantially cheaper in look and feel. It's easy to put together, and I do love that it comes with a cover, but ultimately I don't think it's going to last long and I'm going to get a more solid option.

I ordered this for up at my parents house on the lake we go through a lot of firewood, and it is a somewhat messy job to keep it stacked in the garage. This looked like it was just about the same size as the space reserved in the garage for firewood. As far as assembly. it is quite simple. It is a large item so make sure you have the space to lay it out, but it is simple as putting bolts and nuts together. Not hard to do.It comes with a nice fabric cover with pinch release straps to put over the frame and conceal the firewood, if you don't like the look of stacked firewood. I guess for someone who keeps their wood outside the cover makes a lot more sense though. I didn't take a picture of it before I came back to phoenix for a month or so, but it has a corner zipper that would give you access to the firewood. The straps are going to be important if you keep it outside, as I did learn. I only put one on one night after I had put it together and set it outside, and it got windy and it had blown off the frame and was on the ground, and was hanging on by the one strap. You should do both if you have it outside, or it could blow away. I remember thinking I don't need to strap it on there, but I did the one and if I hadn't I no doubt would have been looking for the cover.I normally would have liked to get you a picture of it in full use, but as we had a turn of very cold weather, I didn't get to the task of unstacking all the firewood, putting it in the tractor bucket temporarily, and stacking it back once I moved the rack in place. Too many other tasks and that was just one I didn't get to yet, but the logs do stack on this just fine, as long as they are at least 14" or so. I should have got a picture, of at least one log in place, but I think you can get the general idea. I don't think we will end up using this outside, as I think it will work better on the concrete of the garage floor, but it certainly would work outside. The cover is decent material; sometimes the outdoor covers on these is just garbage, but this seems like it is heavy enough to last a while. I am going to be a little more skeptical about the pinch locks on the cover until they last a winter. I had a new cover on the log splitter and a little time outdoors and a few were already broken as they were very thin material. We'll see about these. They didn't seem fragile though. The rack itself seems like it is quite solid tubing. I haven't loaded it full of logs yet, but it is sturdy enough to hold up to the weight I think. Can't really go wrong with this if you want a log rack. It's not really special, but it is going to do the job.

This rack is sturdy and holds quite a bit. It only took a few minutes to assemble and had a simple design. I haven't put the cover on outside yet, but it fits fine on the empty rack (I checked).I got this rack because our woodpile is in the backyard, and the recent snow has made it hard to get out there to restock. This smaller rack will let me fill the woodbox inside and also have a closer option right by the back door that is covered. Now I can have even more wood prepped for a big storm while still keeping the main woodpile safely away from the house.Update: the cover works fine and lasted through the most recent snow storm with no issues.

I have a firewood holder and it's enclosed and homemade but I wanted something else that I could keep closer to the house without having to worry about rot. This does okay, it's very lightweight and I had to use a wrench to torque it enough to not be flimsy so make sure to do that since it's not included with the assembly. It feels stable after that and I really like that the cover buckles down because we get intense winds here. If it's not way down it will blow over so try to put something in there to weigh it down. It's large enough and holds a decent amount of wood but the frame is just too short I guess. My wood stove is not very wide so I can't cut my firewood too large and it was really hard to find pieces that were long enough to bridge the gap between the rails. I'm going to cut a piece of plywood and fit it on top because during rain storms I had wood falling in between and getting wet. The Velcro door is a little odd but I found that I can just lift under and grab whatever what I want as long as it's not filled up. I'm also not sure if it's very waterproof but we got about 5 in of rain over two weeks and some of the top wood was a little wet but it burned just fine.Overall it's not too bad, Good for keeping wood closer to the house. I wish the frame was bridged so that some of my smaller pieces could fit without having to make a base of wood to put it on top of.

I needed a second rack for firewood. I only got one initially, but then I decided to get a half quart of wood instead of a quarter so after the wood was delivered, I had one fully filled rack and then the rest was stacked right on the concrete pad in my backyard. That's not the worst situation but it's not the best so I got this so that I could rack the rest of the wood.Assembly was super easy, I would say it took me less than 10 minutes start to finish. I love that this rack comes with a cover so I'm able to throw that over the firewood and keep it from getting damp. I will say the outdoor cat seem to love it. They've gotten the habit of sitting on this cover. I do love cats. They have a bad habit of scratching through covers. So what I did is put some little sticky sided sheets on top of the cover, and that resolved the issue. The rack cover does use Velcro. I'm hoping this will last long-term. Sometimes Velcro can just get dirty.or worn and not stick. I think a nice zipper would've been better long-term, but we'll see how it works. The rock itself is very sturdy and I expected to last for a long while. Very happy to now have this in my backyard.
