2.5 Stars would probably be more accurate. Took three tries to get a ring that was actually machined correctly. The first one wasn't even square with itself, as far as the top/bottom pieces.Kind of a sad reflection on Ruger as far as manufacturing and quality control. Not the first time I've experienced that with them recently.I had also ordered the medium ring to go with this one, it was fine first try.I am wondering why they don't make this particular ring in a Low version, would be nice if they did, because I actually would be better off to use a low and a medium.

I can't believe these are actual Ruger rings. First off, they didn't come in Ruger packaging, just a plastic bag with a label. Second, one ring was actually flat but the other one wasn't and caused a deep gouge into my scope tube. After not being able to zero the scope I looked at the rings closer and found the flaw. One ring measured .435 from one edge to the other but the second ring was .431 on one edge and .423 on the other. The inside diameter of the rings also appears to be unfinished and looked like they came straight out of a casting mold. I ordered a second set because these were already beyond the return period before I realized the flaw and they are both off having one side at .437 and the other at .428.

This can't be a Ruger product. Maybe Ruger packaging but base metal will rust. Bad fit, bad functionality
