Okay despite the poor reviews, it does fine. It's not a freaken steam room or commercial steamer. Why are people using it in the shower? If your shower is completely sealed off, then it might work. I use mine in my shower until I get my sauna tent. However, my shower is sealed off from top to bottom. It's fine for the price and even then I noticed it could be a bit stronger but it wasn't made for a whole room. It did the job.

I realize this is subjective because of my needs but while this steamer looked better engineered and had some handy features, it didn't heat as well or produce as much steam as the MOKARO brand.

Feeble "steam" heat generator. A strange smell when used. Save your time and money.

The flimsy plastic lid has many screw holds that lead to stress fractures when steam builds up. Mine lasted one session. Going to try and epoxy but don’t hold much hope.

After purchasing 3 other units that didn’t get hot enough to heat our one person sauna tent, this unit works fabulously and lasts for an hour without running out of water!

Works better than the pot that my sauna came with. Heats up fast and gets very hot.
