Very well built nicely finished they give you a whole bunch of really top quality screws, and most important even throw in a small level board with a magnet, a pocket clip and a little chain. What could be better

We installed 8 of these (24 screw holes total) and hit the stud on 23-- which was the part reviews made me most nervous about doing. Here was our trick- we used a stud sensor recommended by Wirecutter that shows both edges of the stud, and the green indicator light shows the stud's center. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0064EICKG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title We also marked the center of each bracket, and aligned those center stud and bracket marks very carefully. While I held bracket in place my partner used a self-centering door hinge drill bit-- 3 pack from Harbor Freight for about $10- middle size worked for our screws. He first drilled a pilot hole in the bottom bracket hole. Then he installed the screw. Once that was secure we used the provided level to get the bracket straight. While I held it steady again he used the self-centering bit to drill the two upper pilot holes, then attached screws. It all took some time, but went great. We just missed the very last screw, barely, but put in an anchor and shelf is still very secure. Hope this DIY tip helps others!

Great addition to my workspace to level up the decor. My daughter loves the space for her specialty Lego sets and I love the way these hold my upcycled butcher block that I stained and varnished to match my space. These can take a nice heavy shelf and are sturdy! They can with two types of mounting hardware sets and a mini level to he’ll the process along.

Size is accurate, angle is prefect for wood shelves, super easy to install, they are heavy duty and look great. I have used them on two shelves for my kitchen and one in my living room now and they work great for a cheaper cost!

Although the company did not advertise for the brackets to be installed in a standard bracket method ( wall bracket below the horizontal) it would have been nice to have the option. The holes on the long end to secure the shelf to the bracket are only recessed drilled on one side. (with the wall bracket above the horizontal. As the normal installation of this specific product, you may end up with the bracket exposed depending on the thickness dimension of the shelf I wanted to invert them. Would have been nice to have the option. Could I yes, except for the coating being marred.One of my 6 brackets was less than 9-0 degrees and I had to shim behind the bracket to level. Is that my fault for inverting them? 90 degrees right side up or right side down is still 90 degrees....Like other reviewers, I hoped that the close size of the 3-hole pattern would allow for hitting the side of a 2x4 (1/2") that isn't going to happen. I tried several times and had to settle for 2 sold in the wood. Having said that like another reviewer,the process left you too close to attempt to use the supplied dry wall anchors.On that subject, the screws are of a sufficient length but the drywall anchors should be thrown away and are the cheapest I have seen in many years. One stripped trying to screw it in and two more stripped out when installing the screws into them. Go get some molly bolts or toggle bolts. The hole left after the crappy drywall anchors come out they will pop right in.The narrative under the product description stated "Large Capacity - 100 lbs. max weight capacity per pair when mounted into wall stud centers" Instructions that came with parts said 40lb a bracket.....On a last note, blame Amazon or the manufacturer but purchasing these was WAY harder than it needed to be. I needed two, the minimum purchase was 4. Fine, maybe ill use the others later. The expected delivery was 45 days. Did not understand that when all of the others were 2-3 days delivery. I could wait so I ordered it. Plans changed I needed to accelerate the product. Canceled reordered 6. 2-3 days expected. The order got delayed and then we got notified that "Unfortunately, a problem occurred with your shipment and we no longer expect it to be delivered. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. If you have not received your refund within 5 days, please contact us." Not delayed. We reordered 6 pack again. ((keep in mind this was the only bracket that had a dimension that might hit the side of a stud so limited options. ) Finally received the next day.Would I repurchase ?NO.

The brackets are strong and of a thickness of approx 5mm. The finish and quality are good.
