DO NOT BUY. I ordered soft tips and after installing the first tip I found these tips are super hard and useless. Tried to shoot with these and they won't hold chalk and slip off cue ball.

Decided to give these tips a try on one of my spare cues. Curious of how the cheaper generic tip is vs the name brand tip.All in all, I’m happy with the tips. They require a little more initial maintenance than the expensive tips but after you get through the first couple layers and shoot with it for a little while, they soften up and have great durability. I actually used a cue shaft with this tip in a tournament last weekend and it played great. All in all, great tip for the money but it’s not a glue on and start playing type of tip, the tips are a bit harder than most, I used the Medium tip as a reference but the Super soft tip should feel like a medium tip from pricier manufacturers. You’ll have to do some shaping and tenderizing of the tip before it gets to its sweet spot. Not recommended for the player that can’t maintain and shape the tip. Once the initial maintenance is done, the tips holds up well with very little maintenance from day to day and hold chalk pretty well too. They do however like to dry up when not used, I used some tip conditioner when I installed and that helped with the drying. Great tips for standard home cues or for the average player looking for a better tip than the original. I would recommend for the price.
