While I can't verify the weight capacity, these things are heavy and feel very solid. I'm using it to hang a heavy bag and it works great for that. These are not the ones you want to take backpacking or climbing, they are legit heavy. But for everything else they seem great!

The build quality is thick and useful for climbing. One thing - opening them for the initial use is somewhat difficult and screwing and unscrewing the connections were also difficult. After using a pair of pliers to get them open, I put some strategically placed vaseline along the threads, so now it works fine. It's almost as if these were spray painted shut. These should pretty much be able to handle whatever you can throw at these hookups. Recommend.

Heavy duty indeed! I was impressed at the quality and workmanship of these carabiners. I haven't had the opportunity to use them to their full capacity yet, haven't put a lot of weight on them, but they seem like they are going to be great for hammocks, boat anchors, etc

These are some no joke heavy duty quick links. Make sure you are using chains that are are large enough to accommodate these links. They have a nice painted coating on them and will hold almost 900lbs each. They have a locking collar that screws onto the top of the link for strength. I used these on a porch swing and it worked out great.

These will do the job of hanging up my winch in the workshop. My issues are the coating and threads. I'm seeing deep scuffs or maybe just missed spots in the black coating where metal is showing. There's notable overspray of the black epoxy coating on the screw threads, and the threads themselves aren't the most pristine I've seen. So, it was difficult to manipulate the locking nut with only my hand. Once I got it started with a wrench and worked it back and forth a few times, the thread action smoothed out. Now it's crunchy but manageable.They're about a half pound each. Just under 4.25" long and just over 2" wide. The diameter of the link will fit through a 5/8" hole, and the mouth opens to 5/8" as well.

These links are heavy duty and solidly built... and I have no reason to doubt the stated weight capacity. The finish seems durable, and they should hold up for most uses. My only negative is the threads are a little rough. I put just a touch of grease on the threads and that helped a lot.

WHOA,These are beefy and well made. I will probably use them to keep my daughters safe on prom night. They are easy to close or open, with the right tools. Just kidding, my daughters are rainbow rioters and I will have no grandchildren.Looking back on that other sentence, it came across as though my daughters were easy to close or open. I guess to clarify, they require hand tools, (Tongue in cheek).OK, enough of that tasteless humor, I am really just trying to figure out how to make this review humorous and informative.These are large tools and will satisfy many consumers, but as we all know, there will always be some out there whom must keep searching for a bigger, better deal.
