I needed attractive 1-inch x 4-inch strips of steel that would not tarnish easily and that 8mm neodymium magnets would hold on to so I could attach a small 1080p display to a plastic case. I had prototyped using some thin steel from the home center, but it was pretty ugly. These metal plates were a perfect solution. Yes, 430 stainless is magnetic, so these are great for attractive mini-memo board projects and can be laser etched using a CO2 laser and Laser Marking Spray.They easily cut using my 3-inch cut-off tool and they look fantastic. See the photos to check out how shiny they are. (The corners got damaged in handling in the Amazon shipping bag. I'm sure that Amazon customer service would have sent a replacement set, but I was in a hurry and I didn't need that end anyway.)

This is good steel, and I was able to use it, but because it came in a flimsy plastic bag with zero support it was (of course) bent by the time it arrived. Adding $.02 worth of cardboard would have given it enough support to arrive undamaged. I cut off the bend section and used the rest, but it wasn't ideal since I needed the original dimensions.It's especially insulting since this steel is marked up 5,000% higher than anything you would find at your local steel distributor. So the fact that they gouge you on the price and skimp on the package is just sad...I'd skip this one

These stainless steel sheets are exactly as they were described and exactly what I need. They arrived well protected and unscratched in protective blue film. I need these for repair of a metal box I have that will regain its usefulness after I am able to fasten these sheets to the interior walls of the box. They are not too thick and they are able to be cut to size easily. They even produce a nice reflection under direct light. If you are in need of straight steel plates, these are a great choice.

These sheets are the exact size and thickness I was looking for to cover small rodent entrance holes. I have tried EVERYTHING from foams to steel wool and mesh, plaster, sand quick and drywall... but they re-open the entry way. Steel sheets were my last option. I needed ones that were small yet not tiny and sturdy but not too thick, and these 4 x8 inch pack of 4 were erfect.

These stainless steel sheets matched the description specs. They came well protected and had no defects/imperfections. Worked well for my intended purpose- using them as surfaces to mount magnetic photos.

I used these sheets to cut out some Christmas ornaments with my laser engraver. It took a few passes, but the results are fantastic! I also made some awesome Halloween ornaments out of stainless steel, including spooky ghosts, witches hats, and bats. For Christmas, I created beautiful stainless steel ornaments in the shape of snowflakes, reindeer, and Christmas trees. The reflective nature of the stainless steel gives these ornaments a unique and eye-catching look that really stands out on the tree.
