1/32" seems thin when you think about it, but when these stainless steel plates arrived, I was surprised to feel how hefty they were. Each plate was shipped with a protective film cover both sides. Removing one side of the protective film revealed a gleaming stainless steel panel that was so shiny you could use it as a mirror! However, be aware that these stainless plates aren't treated to resist finger prints. And, be careful handling them because the edges are somewhat sharp.While I'm using these in my camper van to make switch panels and to cover up past mistakes, the possibilities are endless. Just let your imagination run!

Needed a few SS sheets for a few things. Needed a base area for my Fiber laser so I would stop marking the main base when doing random full runs. Also used a sheet for my Titanium/Niobium anodizer tank.Worked great for both those applications. Not really much more to say. Good uniform thickness, easy enough to cut and use.Next is to play with a sheet on the fiber and try some cutting.

Stainless steel - raw material as described! I use these as backing plates to align magnets into other materials and it works perfectly. Also great for fiber laser projects. It engraves well.
