The spare on my 2007 Camry is buried under the trunk's carpet and fiberboard "floor" which is held down by a screwed-down bracket. I've always hated messing with that as I have back pain and leaning over the trunk to check the tire is difficult. I put on one of these extensions and threaded it through a hole in the fiberboard. Now I just lift up the carpet to check the tile. No more having to lift the fiberboard.On my Highlander, the spare is under the car with the valve stem facing up. You have to remove tools and awkwardly lower the tire until it's low enough to access the valve stem. I put one of these extensions on the stem and let it hang down so I can just reach under the car to check the spare.My only concern is whether or not the extensions are putting any stress on the valve stems, but we'll see....

put these on a 2012 Harley ultra with a 21" front wheel made checking the air pressure so much easier and they seem to hold air good just mage sure to tighten them down on the stem real good but so far no leaks
