These small latches were perfect fit for my woodworking project and they have a positive snap and stay closed. Additional bonus is the ability to use a lock on them.

The buckle portion is stain less but the catch is not. Very disappointed. Was going to use on a little outdoor library. Useless as they will rust.

These aren't actually stainless steel. The latches are consistent and appear to be solid, but if you need to use them outdoors, realize they're not stainless steel.

These have sharp edges on every corner. Mounting them is a big pain in the arse because the latches are sprung. You basically need three hands if you want to mount them without being crooked. They also dont want to stay latched. I use them in my truck to latch a box and a bump makes them open unless you put something through the eyes.

I bought these for a project and they work perfectly. Would be nice if they cane with an install template, but they are strong and do the job.

these clasps are very nice. they are well done, sturdy, no burrs. they are nicely finished. only problem i have is that the screws don't fit the hook part and the heads are wrong. what is required is pan head 6 x 1/2 inch. what came with them were not pan head nor did the fit in the holes. they fit the hasp part but the heads are still wrong. everything would need to be beveled and or redrilled. fortunately, being a wood worker for the last 50 yrs, i have a well stocked pantry. i just swapped out the screws for the correct one and bob's your uncle. the clasps are excellent tho.

Needed to hold down a box lid for router table I made. They hold, but spring is a little too light. I adapted them to work for me.
