I use these on boat hatches that I made out of 58 plywood. I had to buy longer screws at Lowe’s, but I made It work. The latches themselves seem to be made of good quality.

Replaced another one of different manufacturer didn’t last a month the slide rail that opens and closed the latch was to thin and failed this one seems much stronger along the sliding rail

They are built well but the mounting sleeves on the bottom suck and longer screws were needed on most latches
