Product is terrible. Plastic doesn't stay well on door. Lost both of them in 5 minutes. Tried to glue them and screwed up my car door.

After temporarily installing one, I decided that edge dings would be less unsightly than the guards. They probably would protect if you don't mind the look of them. I won't be returning--it was worth a try.
