With in 5 minutes of lite mig welding, the tip started melting and deforming!

I was happy that it fit perfectly on my Kicking Horse mig welder, but after about five minutes of on and off welding, I seen bright flashes through the helmet shield. This was the plastic melting and after I set the torch down, it melted completely.
