I finally bit the bullet! - when I found these originally I had a purpose in mind as I thought I had the capability for what I wanted to do with it LOL, but after receiving it I was finding for all intensive purposes that I would not be able to engrave as I wanted to. I was sure that I would be able to but I was a little , well a lot afraid that one, it was not going to work two, I would break something.I am so glad I finally decided to go for it because I didn't break anything. The first try on this metal plate I liked what I was getting but I wanted it to be a little thicker so I just flipped it over and changed the logo slightly and ran it through again. I'm also trying to add a little color into it but I'm still working on that.There are four stainless steel rectangle forms that are 4x8 in and they are smooth surface and some edges though are rounded and I found some of the edges to be very sharp and I would caution the handling of these plates until you know where those sharp edges are. I'm not quite sure why that is but it does not hinder my work in any way.1/32 in thickness and the perfect size to work with. I find it to be good quality and highly functional as it is extremely versatile. It is an excellent value for the money if you have a need this type of product.

As described and good quality! Just right for my project. Protective film on both sides of each plate. Even though thickness is only 1/32", the plates are surprisingly stiff.Good stuff!

I got these along with larger plates to use for different crafting purposes. They work well for plates for encaustic mono prints and as magnetic memo boards etc. I recommend having them around if you are a crafter and need materials to work with. Get them, they are great for many purposes.

This is great for making Christmas ornaments with my laser engraver/cutter: The Santa ornament features a jolly Santa Claus with a big smile, rosy cheeks, and a fluffy white beard. Great metal plate. I ordered these is two sizes (this one + the 1/52") to attach to drywall holes that mice use as an entry point. This is the thicker of the two sizes, and I used it for the hole that needed the most reinforcement. Good quality and the 4x8" size was perfect for the small holes I needed to cover.

I ordered these plates to keep in my shop for upcoming projects. They size is great because when I order stainless steel sheets from an industrial supplier usually the smallest size they stock is 12x12” and I hardly ever need a sheet that big. Industrial suppliers always have a large shipping & handling cost too so ordering these on Amazon is the way to go. I needed a bracket to mount my remote heat controller on my motorcycle and one of these sheets worked great. The thickness was just what I needed, stiff enough to serve it’s intended purpose but easy enough to make nice bends without having a press brake and rust resistant. I’m pleased with how the bracket came out. (see photo).
