I haven't tested yet but seems like a quality product. someone else said the item does not come with springs and a retainer clip so I ordered these separated off another site for almost thirty bucks once shipped and then this package shows up with them. could have saved myself some money

Trailer brakes worked great for a while, then my turck kept saying i was losing brake connection. I originally thought it was the trailer plug coming loose, but when i crawled under the trailer and began an extensive investigation i found that 3 of them were shorting out, and only 1 was working OK. I'm not sure how a simple electro-magnet can short out like that, but it was feeding power to the ground wire, which was telling my truck's computer something was wrong. Only one didn't do that and appeared to work fine. Price i'm paying for buying cheap stuff. I gave it two stars because one did work. :-) Now i'll have to see IF i can return them. ugh.

I replaced my old magnets that had too high of a resistance reading and these fixed my OL brake controller fault. Too them on a 2500 mile journey and the brakes always worked. Good feeling to have in traffic!

They look exactly like the original magnets. Replaced them with no problem. Time will tell how they hold up.
