Our fence post caps are made of hard plastic and do not stretch. please measure the posts' end portion size again before purchasing!!!
For the plastic fence post caps to fit, Please take time to measure your fence post, the end portion of the fence post should be approximately 3 5/8" x 3 5/8".
You don't need to measure the whole post, just the end grain of the fence post, where the fence post caps is installed.
Our fence post caps can be painted, must use a paint that adheres to plastic.
1/8-inch-thick to protect your pressure treated posts from water and sun damage. Very durable and contains UV inhibitors to protect against the harsh sun.
You can use nails, screws or adhesive to securing the caps on the post. For nails and screws, you need to drill a pilot hole at least two sides of the caps.(Nails and screws are not included in this package)

They will do in a pinch, bright white, fit the fence top and look like the price I paid. Will replace with better ones later. Worth the price.

They look good, but was worried that wind might blow them off the fence posts as they did not fit snugly - so screwed them to posts.

This is a sturdy, well made cap for fence posts. I’ve painted my posts black and used horizontal boards. Very upscale look. I drilled one small hole and added a screw on the side to secure them.

These caps are well made and fit the wood posts perfectly. Used a spot of adhesive to keep caps in place. They look really good and finish the project very well. Good quality, good price, good product. I recommend.
