I purchased these to store die cuts for card making. The magnet held the dies very firmly. I was using 30 ml magnetic sheets that the dies just popped off of. I will certainly order more. The extra money is well worth the value.

Worked great for my purposing. Used one to cover a 7" hole for exterior-venting oven hood fan (I put it above my stove great filters, so when not cooking my A/C doesn't seep out the vent, whtn after cooking just stick it back). Because one side of these are adhesive, I attached to a piece of thin 8x10 plexiglass to make it more solid (these are fairly bendable) Glad I got this version as it's very thick and sticks well to the metal oven hood (or a refrigerator, or any other metal object). Wish it came in a "1-pac," instead of having to buy 5, but I can use the other 4 to cut for refrigerator magnets (with pics) or other purposes. These would be ideal for an 8x10 family photo or collage to send to relatives to put on their frig. Bottom line, these are THICK and STICK really well (so glad I didn't get the thin, wimpy ones with so-so reviews from other sellers). These are durable, but also easy to cut or drill.

I used the sheet to stick on a white board that I had that was not magnetic. The sheet adhered to the white board & I stuck magnetic letters on, it does the job. I wish they had it in white instead of black.

I am SO pleased with these magnetic sheets. I hunted several stores before finally deciding to get these more expensive ones through Amazon because everything I found in stores was really thin and a lot of them were rolled up also. I wanted flat and thick. I used these to make minecraft magnets for my son's birthday and they turned out fabulous. The adhesive was incredibly sticky and I have had no problem with the paper I stuck to the magnets coming up at the edges or anywhere else. I cut the magnets by hand with regular scissors and it was not as hard as I thought it would be. They cut pretty easily but your hand does get tired after awhile. And I was just cutting a whole bunch of squares. Anything with a shape to it would have been much more tedious though I'm sure it could be done. The reason I gave the magnets 4 stars instead of 5 is because I noticed that my kids hands were coming away black every time they played with the magnets. I had printed out sheets of minecraft blocks and stuck them to the adhesive magnet sheets so I at first thought that the black was ink from the printer coming off so I laminated some of the magnets but their hands still came away black. I tried rubbing only the back of a magnet with my finger for a minute (without touching the inked paper on the front) and sure enough, my finger turned black. So you might give a second thought to your purchase if you will be handling these magnets a lot. The magnets are still a huge hit at our house, I just have to try to catch the kids when they are done playing and wash their hands before the black winds up on furniture, walls, books, etc. Otherwise, fantastic product.

The sellers was nice enough to include a coupon code for 5% off my next order which I will definitely be using. :)I loved making homemade magnets with these sheets. Using a super sharp pair of scissors, some scrapbooking paper/embellishments, Judi-Kins Diamond Glaze, and occasionally an exacto knife, I made a bunch of homemade magnets. You can buy some scrapbooking embellishment or cardstock kits and slap them on the sheet and cut them out. I used this that I bought from Micheal's ($15 there but $10-ish on Amazon) which was perfect for making cute magnets. The scissors that I used was a Scotch Titanium scissors that I bought off of Amazon ($15 daily deal for a pack of 3). The sheets are not that hard to cut with when you are cutting basic shapes but with smaller more intricate I had to carve it out with an exacto knife. Once I got the magnet cut out, I opted to cover them with the to make them more durable. (I also purchased the Judi-Kins glaze on Amazon for $10-ish because I could not find it at a store near me.) I had to glaze them because the paper would started to crinkle or come up along the edges when I would take them off the fridge. Word of caution: DO NOT SHAKE THE GLAZE before you use it or bubbles will appear. Trace a line of glaze all the way around the edge first and then slowly worked my way inward. Don't worry if you get bubbles because you can pop them with a safety pin after you cover the entire magnet. Some tips on popping bubbles: (1) Wipe your safety pin clean after each bubble. Having glaze on the tip of the pin will prevent you from popping them. (2) For the super small bubbles, gently scratch your scalp with the safety pin, wipe the tip clean, and the try to pop the bubbles. I dunno why this works but I suspect the natural oils from your scalp will help to break up the air bubble better. Wait for the glaze to dry and voila--super cute magnets. NOTE: It is better to use thicker cardstock because the glaze will start to penetrate the paper and it will start to look "wet" and see through-like. Eventually though, once dried it will be less see through.I got creative and started to cut out my own shapes out of cardstock to make it look like cute washi tape.
