Bought these for my wife's backpack for our hiking trip. Her bag didn't have pole holders but had mounts on all four corners. These held her hiking/trekking poles perfectly for the trip. They fit perfect and added no weight to the bag. If you have mounting points on your backpack these are great.

The uses for these are only limited by what you can come up with. These are better by far than most of the bungees that come pre-installed on backpacks for pole storage or anything else you might want to use them for. Well worth the cost and then some. Highly recommended and will likely purchase more.
