From the big piece to smaller ones. This helps so much. You can put lines on anything. I use a permanent marker and even lines on cartons. I just leave a few lines blank and space them out. Crafter's, lines for ribbon, as a banner. Making a check list with no lines. But you can measure it out. These stencils are sturdy. I love this. I may order a second set for my craft room.

Obviously letters that go below the plastic line has to be done later unless pencil lines are drawn and later erased. I really like how sturdy they are and the stencil variety, but again I need practice. I may just pencil in the lines and erase later. I have drawn in lines using a ruler which is a little difficult. This still works for me!

These stencils work great. The pack comes with a variety of sizes. I use them in a Joy Journal that I am creating. You can fit several on a page, stager them it make room for art work or drawings.The plastic is clear so it's easy to add lines to existing work. They came with an envelope to store the smaller templates.The template or stencils have measurements to aid in placement.The paper in this pic is standard printer size.
