These are the general shape for crafting but not useable without thinning down by sanding or filing. Fortunately we have a bench grinder I was able to use to make a useable needle for nalbinding.

Even though I had read the description, I really did not have the idea that these are really big. The wood is good enough quality that I will be able to cut them down and get them sanded smooth for what I want them for.

Decently smooth for tapestry weaving. The big problem is the package arrived with only 4 in the ziploc bag, clearly marked "qty 5". I got three long ones and one short one.

These are clean cut, ready to sand/carve/burn. The ends can be blunted a little more without loosing too much length, and they are Beech wood which I like for pyrography. I plan to carve, sand and burn them for gifts and I'm absolutely thrilled with them. I'll be back with update photos when I get a few finished!Thank you :)

Love these toothbrush needles, bonus they came in 3 days early, I would definitely recommend these for anyone who want to trya toothbrush rug.

These are good tapestry weaving needles. Had to sand them down with fine sandpaper so they wouldn’t snag (hence four stars). The eyes are nice and big so you can thread any yarn weight easily. Having both short and long needles is a plus too as each has its usefulness depending on project size. Thought they might be flimsy or the tips might break, but so far they are holding strong. The width has worked out well—a fair amount to grip while threading through the warp. Plan to use them for knitting as well. These needles will probably outlive me, lol.

So far these are working great for my rag rug crafts. As of right now I have zero complaints. As I begin working on larger projects I will then know how sturdy and strong they are. But they are a great product and very useful for my projects.
