these feel slightly smaller, but seems to work great. Where used to replace handles on genset, pressure washer and chainsaw

We attempted to install this pull starter assembly on a pressure washer powered by a Honda GC160 engine. It almost fit, but the holes were too small and not aligned correctly. The 4th picture shows one hole on the Multisland starter (red) held up to the OEM starter (black). I was able to enlarge and re-position the holes using a rotary tool. Once installed, the starter worked as expected. I would not call this a "compatible" pull starter, but if need be, one can make it work. It would be nice if the listing included the diameter of the holes.

I have two reel mowers and a Honda HRX217 rotary mower. This recoil starter looks identical in size and shape to the OEM unit on top of the 160 engine. It is the exact same size and with the exception of a glued on label on top of the OEM unit, is identical. They also include and extra pull cord and an extra pull handle. Very handy as I have a lot of yard equipment and have had to replace several pull cords over the years.

I crushed the original one on my pressure washer during loading for a job, so this was a quick replacement. It went on in minutes, fit perfectly, and works just like the OEM starter. It even included an extra rope and handle, which will go in the work truck parts box for future use.

The cord had broken on this Honda mower and swapping it out for this replacement took about a minute and required just a 10mm wrench. It worked perfectly on the first try and matches the color exactly.
