Didn't seem steady enough for our boat. It was hard to use. I wouldn't recommend - spend a little more for a more stable option.Otherwise Great quality. Exactly as described and a great value.

I bought this for my kayak. It works great. I hang it over the back of the kayak and can now easily get into my kayak when in deep water.

Missing 1 of 2 stainless steel clips. Material seems fairly solid, stiching looks ok. Have no idea of durability, and have not tried it with a 100kg person in rolling seas.

This is best defined as emergence use primarily. The ladder needs something the push up against on a boat for it to be more effectively used. If you hang it off the front of a pontoon boat, it's sturdy and will hold a good amount of weight, but will want to fold under the boat when attempting to climb up it. BUT in an emergency case, this is great to have even to allow someone to grab onto for support and not climb up, just to be out of the water enough to be helped onto a boat. This may work better on a V-hull boat if side entry is better suited, the hull can be used for support. Either way, not bad for the added insurance of a safety device or occasional use device depending on your application.

We have a 14' Aire raft that was purpose built for fishing (it's more narrow than the typical Aire whitewater raft and has a bit more curve so that the sides are further off the water), but we use it for floating during the hotter months. Sounds like a great time, right? And it is. up until the point when your 40 year old ass tries to get back into the boat after a quick dip in the river to cool down. What ensues is not pretty and requires aide from someone still in the boat plus a beer afterward to cool down again and wash away the shame. In truth, getting back into the boat isn't easy for anyone, but it's worse the older (and more out of shape) you are.Well, I figured there had to be a solution. Enter this rope ladder. $20-ish bucks? Free returns? Sold. I figured it was worth a shot. I did opt for the 4 step ladder to make sure it was tall enough, but probably could have gotten away with the 3 step version. Still, as dragging the bottom isn't an issue where we float and the ladder is super easy to pull in when done, the 4 step version is a great option that I appreciate having. I'm pretty sure my husband thought I was being a weanie, but then he tried it and, as he was easily climbing back into the boat, muttered, "it is the best $20 we've ever spent".This was easy for us to attach to our frame, which is lashed down to the boat with NRS straps. I just hooked the strap around and under a bar of the frame and then hooked the (included) carabiner back onto the strap. Done. We do have a fishing frame, which is typically a bit bigger than the normal stern mount frame, but I'm fairly certain any configuration could find a place to put this ladder.12/10 recommend this for a more graceful boat entry.

shackles too small to attach to existing ladder. Had to tie it on.

Tried to use this off of the back swim deck of our boat to make getting on and off much easier. The lack of rigidity of the ladder rungs makes this impossible to use for adults or children. Didn't work for one of eight people that tried it. The materials it was made of seamed to be of good quality, but the design is unusable for use off of a swim deck.

I needed a little help getting into the boat from swimming, purchased the rope ladder because I didn’t want to spend a ton of money. It works like a charm! Easy to use as long as you have something to clip it to, easy to store and carry!
