These are just what I was looking for. Needed a quick connection for a sub box that is in back seat of my truck. I can easily unplug and remove sub if I need more room or to haul an extra person in back seat.

Beware of other aftermarket connectors. They are not industry standard connectors, and will not mate with these. These are the real deal.

Easy to use. I soldered the connection. Beats the hell out of Bass Pro’s option for $50+ bucks. Save some money and grab these.

I was finally able to put these to use. Well I was using I am using these on my trailer for the lifepo4 batteries that replaced the lead acid batteries. I also have 400 watts of solar on the trailer. when I went out on my first trip I noticed that the voltage in the trailer was lower then what was being reported at the batteries by over 1.5v. this is a lot on a 12v system. So I took out my trusty VOM and checked the voltage at the batteries (13.7v) and the voltage in the trailer (12.2v). I went back to the battery box and again it was still 12.1v outside the box. check inside the box (12.1v), then on trailer side of the connector (12.1v) battery side of the connector 13.7v. I then checked to see if the pins were all the way in and they were not. After that the voltage on both sides were 13.7v. So I unplugged the connectors made sure that the pins were all the way in and plugged them back together. I recheck the voltage and again battery side 13.7v trailer side 12.1v. Checked the pins and again they were pushed back. So inspected the pins and the groove that the holding tab suppose to use to hold the pin in place does not have the shape or depth as a true anderson pin has. I think I will spend the extra and get a true and good product.

I've used 8 of the 10 so far, no issues, each is working as designed and seem to make good contact as no issues with 40a steady current :)

These connectors click in securely and come apart easier then the smaller XT style connectors. Unfortunately, the plastic is not the best and gas will destroy it.
