initially i had bought this to make a self watering system for some plants and it had worked as expected. the plants continued to grow with next to now watering. would consider buying again if i end up needing to do the same again.

COTTON wick burns away as it runs out of fuel.Fiberglass wick blackens but remains intact ready for more fuel.Wick must be saturated with fuel before lighting or wick doesn't work.from other sources it appears that wick can be several inches above fuel level.Experimenting with wrapping with AL foil to see how high!Art project needs multiple wicks several inches long, so amount per package works fine.

I got the wrong size but will find a use for it. Nothing beats cotton.

It's all cotton and definitely 1/4 inch which is more than I can say for others that don't know how to measure. It's great quality and with the money, and I do recommend it.

This is a great product because I collect oil lamps of all shapes and sizes and of course this means that there's all shapes and sizes of wicks and some of them are hard to find out in the public stores thankfully I found it here and it's a perfect fit
