Tips

- If you need to drill holes in hardwood, please enlarge the screw hole, a 10mm drill bit is recommended to prevent the board from cracking.
- Before screwing the nut, you can apply some wood glue to the nut to make the fastening effect better.

They do what there supposed to do and don’t strip easily when trying to install.I would recommend using a longer more sturdy Allen wrench for install and if you’re good to install several of these I wound buy a higher quality brad point drill bit.

I hate to overbuy quantity but the value here compared to buying from one of the Box lumber stores was a no brainer... It may take me a decade to use them all up but they work great!

These were very nice inserts. The 15mm long Inserts I got fit great in 3/4 inch plywood. The drive bit provided was of surprisingly good quality and made quick work of making the hole. The inserts were easy to seat with the included hex wrench but went much easier with hex socket and ratchet. But you can install these just fine with the included tools. They easily took 1/4-20 bolts. I used some with plastic knobs on top to secure tools to a work bench. They tightened firmly and the insert did not budge , spin or pull out. I am very happy and looking for other fun things to bolt down

The inserts are solid and work well, however the drill bit arrived dull and unusable. The hex wrench was no better. It became rounded over and useless after the second insert. I was installing the inserts in pine plywood, not a hardwood.
