The covers are very thin, particularly at the edges. I don’t expect they will hold up

Bought these to use for my milkweed cuttings for my monarchs. I was able to fill them to the top, pop on the cap and put the cuttings through. They didn’t leak if they weren’t straight up and down and one cutting lasted DAYS due to the constant access to water. Loved them! Ended up buying the bigger size too because these worked so well at keeping the cuttings alive!
