I used these to build and reinforce my studio desk project. Mainly securing the drawer slides for my retractable keyboard shelf. I only needed a dozen, but I know I’ll be able to incorporate the extras into a future project.

Perfect solution for joining closet system components. Clamped two closet towers together, drilled a hole about every 12 inches from top to bottom, installed the bolts, tightened, and got the components to align beautifully.

The hex sizes on the male and female part are not a great match. The supplied hex keys do work. If you are applying torque, be careful. I use them to make solid barn doors. They hold and add a bit of detail. Not coming apart any time soon. Make sure you order the right length as there should be 5 or 6 threads of engagement for structural integrity.

I've been working on a dollhouse for several months. It started as a single cabinet with doors. Then I added a second cabinet so they stood side by side, and was just about finished when it occurred to me that adding a third cabinet and removing walls to make some rooms bigger would be even nicer. I knew, however, that I would need to hold the cabinets together to prevent them from collapsing when I cut some of the walls out. These hollow bolts were perfect.They gave the cabinets stability and pulled them tight together so I could move the doll condo around without it collapsing.They did, however, leave a bit of a bump/dip in the walls, and ultimately I covered those with bass wood so I have a smooth surface for floor and wall coverings.I'm an amateur when it comes to tools and hardware, but love DIY projects and all these required was a drill. They came with their own little hex screw drivers, so grab a drill and use these hollow bolts if you have something you want to pull together like I did with the doll condo.They worked perfectly and I'm so happy with how the doll condo is turning out.
