This has been great for taking with us camping. Its compact setup made it easy to pack away for travel. Setup was just as easy. I especially love that it came with two baskets. Cooking fish and fries at the same time is a breeze because of this. Keep in mind this is not a big fryer. If you want to fry chicken using both baskets, I wouldn’t cook more than six pieces at a time. Keep your portions small, and this fryer is great (too much, and the oil just won’t stay hot). Don’t expect to keep a family of six or more fed fast enough. This is a great casual cooker if you’re not in a hurry or you have just a few people to feed. The coating on the fryer baskets keeps the handles cool, but still use a pot holder when grabbing them. They can get a little warm from the flames if the wind is blowing in the right direction. My family has thoroughly enjoyed this fryer; this makes it worth the price.

The BTU Propane Deep Fryer has some potential, but there are notable concerns with its design. On the positive side, the fryer was straightforward to assemble, and the dual baskets are a convenient feature for cooking multiple items at once. However, I ran into significant issues with the frame.The aluminum pan arrived dented, which was a disappointment right out of the box. Additionally, the legs of the fryer are only supported at the top, leaving them without any reinforcement in the middle or bottom. This lack of structural support makes the fryer unstable, which is troubling when dealing with 18 quarts of hot oil. I found myself hesitant to use it without coming up with some kind of DIY bracing for the legs.The concept of this fryer is appealing, but the execution leaves room for improvement. Adding better leg supports or even including replacement pans might provide some much-needed stability and reliability. If stability is a concern for you, this product may require some modifications before you feel confident using it.

18 QT Outdoor Deep Fat Fryer - $98.99Disclaimer: I haven't actually used it yet.That said, assembly was easy. The tub came dented, but we used a rubber hammer to push the dents back out. It looks mostly ok.It has two large baskets. It is short, but I suppose that's a safety issue. Who wants boiling oil sitting all top heavy and spillable.As soon as it's warm outside, I'll be able to hook it up to the propane tank and give it a try.

This is a great addition to your backyard grilling area. Instead of having to break out the countertop fryer and smelling up the house as well as the potential danger that comes with that, you can instead have a near commercial quality dual fryer next to your grill...for cheap. It's an easy set up and works fast and is also easy to clean.

I took this deep fryer out to our neighborhood block party and it worked awesome! I was able to cook up some amazing fish and fries so quickly to keep up with the demand.Assembly was straightforward, and the build quality is solid. The burner gets incredibly hot and maintains temperature well, which is key for deep frying. It handled multiple batches of food without any issues, and the dual baskets made it easy to fry up different items at the same time.I also love that I can keep all the frying smells outside instead of in the house. Whether it’s for seafood boils, fried chicken, or just a big batch of fries, this fryer rocks! Well worth the money!
