The tool does the job on 500kcmil, but the knobs have a tendency to work themselves loose, to the frequency that, to avoid having to keep re-tightening the allen screws, we added blue thread locker. Works like a champ, now.

This tool makes bending electrical cables really easy. I always have a hard time stuffing cables in breaker boxes but this really helps. I used it on a breaker bar and it worked well. The breaker bar I used had a flexible head which sometimes rotated out of alignment. I suggest you use a tool with a fixed head like a ratchet or a breaker bar with a head that stays in place. The tool has slight knurling on the posts that help keep it in place without damaging the cable. This tool is well built and priced competitively with similar tools. Highly recommended.
